Unity 3D vs. Papervision 3D

Hello guys,

Unity3D and Flash are both web-plugins, eventhough Flash player 10 is talking directly to your graphic card these days, 3D in Flash is still not that great.

So if you really want a cool 3D website, use Unity3D. Most users will have to install the plugin, but you could make a 3D teaser in Flash, to invite people to install the unity3D-plugin.

De nieuwe “NOXX Antwerp” website heeft een back-end gemaakt met Drupal, en een front-end CMS gemaakt met Flash. Hierdoor kan de webmaster meteen zien hoe de NoxxEvents op de website zullen verschijnen.

Red Hot Flashman Skinning Finished !!

After a great party in Gent, my girlfriend was tired sOo early, and she wanted to go home. I wasn’t tired yet, so I got behind my computer in the middle of the night to finish my Mascot. The day before I prepared myself by drawing my ideas onto a print of the uv-mapping. This is the first time I use uv-mapping and i am really happy with the result. After this I am gonna start digging into the animation-libraries of Away 3D. So stay tuned. In a while you will be seeing this guy fly around on my homepage. I can’t wait to see the results of that…!

This is made for a colleague of mine. This application loads the rss-feed of my colleague’s wordpress-blog, and displays all the images and information in a randomised photoshuffle.

This is a little window with a lot of possibilities.

The new RTBF-iPlayer contains all the latest media of RTBF and its daughter-companies such as Pure FM, Classic21, VivaCité, Musiq3, La Premiere,… All the media is structured as Audio or Video, and subdevided in several categories such as Le Journal Télévision, Sport, Politics, Live radios, … In the RTBF-iPlayer you can find Live-radio-playlists and radio-sheduling, view the TV-news of last week, search trough the entire archives of Rtbf media-files, …

Neveneffecten 3D-engine ( proof of concept )

Proof of concept.

This 3D-engine is build from scratch, and it is editable trough sliders for the values of the xyz position of each 3D-object, there is also an option to animate the 3D-objects, add a click-behavior for each 3D-object and you can even add video or audio media to a 3D-object. All the objects and there values are stored in a Drupal back-end and are easy to edit by the client themselves.
